We are excited to announce a July release of dataloader.io that incorporates the following features, improvements and bug fixes:
Stronger security
Moving data from one place to another might be frustrating when you don’t have a control of it. Today, we use one of the strongest server-side encryption and provide access to result files only to its owners. With our July release users can completely remove data from our servers by deleting the task via dataloader.io’s interface. In addition, users have a full control over where CSV data is stored. Users can select “Save Result Files Externally” under advanced settings which guarantees that there will be no CSV files stored on dataloader.io servers. This feature is only available when using one of the external storages such as Dropbox, Box, (S)FTP, where result files are saved. Note, the result files will not be available for download from the main page.
New pricing
Our vision is to provide a high quality solution across the board and to ensure dataloader.io remains free to most of you. We are proud to say that recently we reached 250,000 users and wanted to thank you all once again for choosing dataloader.io. However, all new users add restrictions to our existing infrastructure and to ensure the highest level of service we are going to make small changes to our freemium model. As of July 20th we are going to decrease the number of rows processed for free users from 50,000 to 10,000 rows per month and number of related objects and attachments from 10,000 to 1,000 rows. Although, existing Professional users won’t be affected, new Professional users that join after July 20th, will have slightly different limits for number of records, related objects and attachments (see below). Everything else will remain the same and these changes won’t affect existing Professional and Enterprise Edition customers.
